PVC Solvent Cement

C BOND is a leading manufacturer, supplier and exporter of PVC solvent cement. Using a leading PVC Pipe Glue and a plastic glue will help your construction seepage-free and intact. We offer the best in class PVC Glue/Adhesive for plumbing which will look after all your sealant needs. PVC solvent is a fast acting adhesive that works by chemically bonding the PVC surfaces together. When it is applied to the joint, the solvent cement rapidly softens and dissolves the surface of the PVC by creating a strong bond between the two pieces.

Leak-Proof PVC Solvent Cement for Industrial & Domestic Plumbing

First Chem Industries is a premier manufacturer of high-strength PVC solvent cement under the C-BOND brand. Our formulations are engineered to provide more than just a surface bond; they act as a chemical weld, softening the surfaces of the pipes and fittings to create a single, fused joint that is completely seepage-free.

Engineered for High-Pressure Performance

  • Rapid Chemical Fusion: Our solvent cement fast-acts to dissolve the surface of PVC, ensuring a permanent, integral bond within minutes.
  • Pressure Resistance: Specifically designed for high-pressure water distribution systems, irrigation, and industrial piping.
  • Climate Optimized: Formulated to maintain consistent viscosity and drying times across various environmental temperatures in India.
  • Seepage-Free Construction: The ultimate solution for preventing leaks in drainage, waste, and vent (DWV) systems.

Whether you are working on massive industrial infrastructure or domestic plumbing, our PVC pipe glues provide the structural integrity and ease of application required for professional results.

PVC Solvent Cement FAQ

1. What is the difference between PVC glue and PVC solvent cement?

Traditional glue only coats the surface. C-BOND Solvent Cement chemically melts the top layer of the pipe and fitting, creating a “cold weld” where the two pieces become one single piece of plastic.

2. Can I use PVC solvent cement on CPVC pipes?

No, CPVC pipes require a specialized CPVC solvent cement designed for higher temperatures. We recommend using our C-BOND CPVC specific range for hot water applications.

3. How long should I wait before testing a joint for pressure?

While the initial bond happens in minutes, we recommend waiting at least 2 to 4 hours for standard pressure systems and up to 24 hours for high-pressure industrial lines to ensure a full cure.
